In an electrifying showdown at the Capital Football Arena on Friday, May 24, 2024, Minerva Academy FC showcased unparalleled resilience and skill, securing the AIFF Sub Junior League 2023-24 title in a dramatic second-half comeback. Trailing 0-2 against Bengaluru FC in the first half, Minerva Academy FC surged back to clinch a 7-4 victory, leaving fans in awe of their tenacity and talent.

The Game Changers: Denamoni and Azam Khan

Key to Minerva's stunning turnaround were the remarkable performances of Konthoujam Denamoni and Mohammed Azam Khan, each netting a hat-trick. Their offensive prowess was complemented by Wankheirakpam Punshiba Meetei, who confidently converted a penalty. Mohammed Azam Khan's two goals in as many minutes brought Minerva level at 3-3.
